Something big is coming - Post your best art work

    Hello CA.org community,

We're now looking to launch our biggest feature yet.

I encourage you to post your best art work now...rather than later. The first users to take advantage of the new system, will inherently have an advantage by being some of the first few users to adopt to it.

    Where to post?
Post it to any of the categories. (except this thread)

    When to post?
    Now.

    When is launch?
Launch is happening soon. Stay tuned to this thread

Massive work is going on behind the scenes to make ConceptArt.org run smoothly and be the best art place on the web. Between some of the fun chaos going on with the server migration , design enhancements, the new job boards, responsive design and now ?

I guess this is my best work in my sketchbook (always find it hard to select): http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...8&d=1400781071

Anyway, really cool that you're open to suggestions for features.

That's pretty interesting, I think I remember you guys experimenting with something like that before. I guess my question is, is there an option to choose to exclude something from that feature, say, if you're doing a bunch of studies of the basics that you don't really want to show off beyond your sketchbook?

Not yet, we will include more in depth options and features as time goes.

All right. So anybody who posts wips gets voted down because their technique is "unfinished" and therefore nobody posts wips. Beginners cannot see how anybody did anything because nobody will show anything but a fully finished work, preferably of some major destruction porn. Got it.

To be honest, I don't like it. I don't like the look of it, I don't like the meaningless "ratings" either.

I'll just keep on posting in my SB for now.

It seems that the work posted previously is not included in the gallery, so if you want some older stuff in there then it has to be posted separately straight into the gallery?

Im in agreement with benedikt. Just dont see what the point of it is. Also if I posted multiple images and all put them in the SB section, the gallery makes a separate thread for each image in the SB section. Wont that add up to a whole lot of spam there? how the hell will you be able to find any sb with people just posting anything they want.

-Correct. I would post it from gallery (to finished art)

If you want an image from your sketchbook to appear in gallery, use the "Post to Gallery Button" in post footer.
