Your work is really good, mate. That still elephant red life is looking nice. I'm loving the texture of the skin you've done. Do more still lives for me

Some lively and intense stuff in here.
If I have to criticize something it will be the lack of strokes or texture on that dual portrait, other than that, very nice.

Thanks very much. really appreciate critique.
ye trying to make these studys im working atm have more textured brush strokes but so far failling

This is some really cool work bedheadomega. I really like the texture and colors of the last portrait. My main critique would be that some of your forms and proportions don't always work, many could use some tweaking. Overall you are doing well and I look forward to seeing more.

thanks ye I think I really need to work on my face anatomy
July 31st, 2014 #26
Yeah the face is tough, so hard to get right and so easy to notice mistakes. The colors on the red shirted girl in your first post are beautiful by the way.
Also how did you make that half-tone pattern in her background?
July 31st, 2014 #27
You've done it right in every other portrait to be honest, is just a reference so you can tell when you've succeded and when you are not doing your best (imo)
The last one have a gorgeous mix, keep it on.

I actually meant the blue dots (half tone patterns are collections of dots), did you do them by hand or with a patterned brush or something?
