Hey everyone, I'm just a dude that likes manga and recently i started to draw. In hope of one day making my own manga/comic book. But thats just a distance dream for now cause theres just one problem im not very good at drawing. I seen the skeychbooks in here and im amazed by the improvement people have made here. So i figure this is the place for me in order to improve. So if you guys can give critiques and advice i'll really apreciate it. So anyways thank you for taking a look at my sketchbook.

You need to work on your brush technique and blending. Besides that, keep it up! You're doing great so far. Keep pushing and believe in yourself. If you can't believe in yourself, then let others believe in you and with that faith, keep pushing forward towards becoming more awesome

Your figured are a bit stiff and your poses somewhat awkward. I would suggest that, in the same way you are doing studies for the hands, you also start doing some gesture drawing. Seeing how quickly your hands improved, your poses and figures should also improve in no time.

There are a few websites you can use for this. Quickposes (http://www.quickposes.com) even has its own forum thread on here!

My personal favourite however is: http://artists.pixelovely.com/practi...igure-drawing/

The poses there are the closes to those you'd actually get in a life drawing class.

Good start with your sketchbook keep up the studies and u will surely improve. Also the websites that Psy-D suggested are excellent resources for studying the human figure. You can use them for quick gesture drawing or longer studies if you wish. There are also sections for Faces, hands, feet etc which is really cool

I deided to start blending using only the brushes instead of the blending tool mypaint has. I been looking at alot of tutorials on blending and eventhough most of them use photoshop, but from what i gather they bpend only using brushes so i figure i should use that isntead of the blending tool or smudge tool.
