Hello there! It's my second post here, and I wanted to open a sketchbook, so that's just it. I'm a 16 year old guy who always liked drawing but always stuck on copying, and that's why I first get into manga (a few months ago) which I liked, but I missed something, and now I am trying to get into concept art like you can see. I have another post on art critique with my recent drawings if someone's interested in. I came here to talk with people that like concept art and to gain some experience with critiques and advices, but I've just found an entire world of art interested people!
Here I leave you my sketches of today, I had a very little time, but it's just the beginig!
PS: I just post here one of my "good" images because it's kind of an ugly thumbnail for the thread... heheh. Thanks for watching!

Ok... I've been some days out, but now I'm back again, I post some sketches drawn in class (classes are soo much boring hehehe) and two quick line drawings from a car called BAC MONO
on the rest of the sketches... character silhouettes, , a manga character, some mechanical and awful things XD (I'll try to get into robots and all this things one day... heheh) and some car sketches involving 2 point perpective

Good stuff man! I actually really like your car design it seems like you have the perspective down. I love the armored guy aswell...hmm try studying some anatomy (everyone is going to tell you this lol) Maybe a lightly drawn skeleton will help you when drawing figures like that...its starts with the vision in your head man (: Keep up the good work! Looking forward to seeing more sketches! (:
Finishing this kind of "car design day" with some BMW "studies", I play with a driving simulator, so I took a 3d model from one sim racing game to do the studies as a reference, not too bad , the 3/4 bird-eye view went better than I expected heheh.
Sorry for the bad quality photos, it's dark and the light from the lamp is kind of yellowish, so photos are kinda like shit
Keep drawing! Never stop. Win at art.
dealing with different object views and design, perspective... and all this things. kinda funny the spaceship I got XD, but I think the side view doesn't match with the others. What do you think?
first try on this kind of exercise
Edit: There was something missing on the "3/4 view" XD
Hey I'm 15 and there are a lot of other very talented young artists on here that may inspire you! One that I know of is deaedbeat's sketchbook. Also would recommend buying a sketchpad and starting with 1 hour a day on drawing. Hope you keep drawing for a long time!
I'm gonna have some fun drawing before I go again to practise and practise. It's been a long while since I did my last reference drawing, so I'll make one within now (I only have about 45-60 min) and tomorrow. I post the skecth and the reference here, but I'll post the finished drawing on my other thread if no one asks for it here, as it's only my sketchbook
I keep sketching after that finished reference drawing, just characters (faces more than anything...) and some kind of planes and spaceships, landscapes will come soon with the drawing tablet, I just don't feel like doing a landscape with my current tools, a landscape sketched by a line drawing and without a single texture? I don't really like it... hehehe
PS: I attach that finished reference drawing, it's not a sketch, but I think it can be a fine place too because, in fact, it's not... what we can call a finished artwork XD
I've been enjoying drawing a lot these days, I just wanna keep going!
Hi! good news incoming, I've ordered the intuos pro M, I'll pay it tomorrow and it will be here about the 24th or the 25th
Some sketches of today, trying to design some spaceships, and I added a bulding and some crappy stuff just for fun hehehe. I'm pretty happy with them, I didn't think I was able to do drawings like these from imagination
Don't stop now! Go for the gold!
Today I decided to do some animal sketches and studies, and what's better than a lion to draw? hehehe, so, following a youtube video I did some sketches of a lion from my mind (to see what happens and to notice where do I get mistakes) and then do some studies from reference and, finally draw some more lions without the reference, and try to apply what was learnt (I'll post this last step tomorrow, I don't have time today... it's 23:33 here and no more time to keep drawing )
So here it is! the first sketches and the studies (anathomy for the most part and very simple, I don't have time! )
Grand animals! Lovely to see you bouncing between memory and reference. Keep it up!
Hi again, does anyone know any tutorial series of photoshop to draw? I'm overwhelmed, way too much things to modify and touch... and I want to know the basics at least...
Missing her eyelids! It's looking really good, just look a bit more at what you're drawing.
Thanks for following my progress, it means a lot!
OMG, my photoshop lost the window layout config and it says: "unexpected file ending" when I try to open my drawing...
I'll have to start again with another drawing XD
