A brief fascination with ravens. No references, charcoal and gel pens, and watercolour pencils and chalk.

Copic marker and acrylics. Deliberately messy, so don't complain

Well, my final artworks thread has just been merged with this one, which was a nasty shock. I guess I have to work harder.

Designs I did for Inspiring Games' Lord of the Horde card game. The brief was to make orcs a bit different, and we experimented with walrus-like tusks instead of the usual lower jaw canines, and have them look arctic-tribal. We eventually returned to the good old orc look, but this was fun nontheless.

Beautiful pieces and I love the way you use gel pen . The touch of gouache on that last one is so great.

A charcoal drawing done for a roleplayer. My first sold original at a convention. I'm very proud.

I've begun using acrylics more often now and realized how much studying lies ahead of me. This is stuff I did over the last few days to learn how materials behave under different circumstances.

I brushed leftover acrylics on a double-page spread with a size 50 brush and used a watercolour pencil and white paint to work out a figure.

Two sketches of the same idea; maybe I'll get around to actually paint this. I got the idea by flipping through a magazine and catching a glimpse of a painting I liked.
