My 100 day goal is to get myself to start creating more. I find myself getting drowned in studies a lot and i'm hoping to start forcing myself to create more. If you see a lot of horrible creations with bad paint jobs from me don't be scared, its just me getting out of my comfort zone hahah
So every tens days i hope to have a new creation of a different subject matter.
My goals for the first ten days is to design a pirate and their ship. Im not sure whether this will be sci fi based or classic type yet. To start with, here are some studies i did of other artists work just to get into the feel of pirate type stuff. Might do some imagination drawings tomorrow then some real life ref sketches

Four Temperaments <3 Wolfypaints
These are the concept thumbnails for what I will be working on for the next 50 days. I wanted to do a larger polyptych, I thought of doing the seven sins but - it seems like something that's been done a lot so I've picked something a bit more obscure. Hippocrates four temperaments are melancholic, sanguine, phlegmatic and choleric - each has a colour and a season associated with it. All four of them share a similar background so my first 10 days I'm going to work on developing that since I really struggle with rock textures.

Introducation: The beginning
^Rist: Sadly I believe so D: (The timer has begun countdown). You can still participate, just not officially
Hello everyone! My goal with participating is to be able to have 10 completed pieces, and make it to the end of the challenge successfully. This will be my first time competing in a CA challenge.
I have yet to actually complete a painting or be able to RENDER a piece, beyond a sketch. I always end unfinished and unsatisfied. I would love to develop this necessary skill (to be able to complete a painting with good comp, values, color, etc) and have my artistic skill reach professional level.
I'm hoping this challenge will help get me there and force me to have more initiative to reach this goal of mine. Thanks for taking the time to read the entire thing Looking forward to participating with you all.
-The first day I went a bit over the top because I was so excited haha. I am still not sure which composition is good.
-I am unfamiliar with armor so I worked on a bunch of armor studies because I know I will want that in my piece.
-I am also unsure if I want to keep this piece solely to imagination with doing studies beforehand or to reference throughout the piece. This decision will greatly affect the quality of the result. I'm leaning towards not referencing to gain the most out of my time.
-And I think I will format images bigger next upload
The only imagination are the thumbnails, everything else are studies

Overall goal: Make portfolio pieces while designing a world involving Samurai, Mechs, and spirits. Each piece should describe a part of the world or its inhabitants.
Goal for several weeks: Design characters for this world.
More details to come...this is a fast post because I'm traveling today and was worried I might not have Internet later to post.

Hi all! Here's day one from me.
My long-term goal is to push my lighting, rendering, design work, and of course work ethic. I will be focusing on highly rendered concepts and marketing art to boost my portfolio and develop a personal story project I have been working on. I'm not sure what each piece will be yet, but I want to do at least one of each type of concept: character, creature, vehicle, environment, prop.

Very excited about this challenge!!
My goal is to improve on lighting and color, so to focus on that I've decided to go with 10 fan art pieces, each in my own style and with different light and color settings!
So far my first piece would be mikasa from attack on titans!

1.)Creating character illustrations good enough for portfolio.
2.)try to squeeze in a 3D model of the characters.
I need to get my 3D skills better so this is a good opportunity to do so.
Initial sketch (apx an hour). More tomorrow

My goal for the next 100 days is to study how to draw architecture, characters, props and environments using both digital and traditional tools. To start building my visual library by study proportions, lines, shapes, volumes, values and colour.
I partly join this challenge to figure out if I have the interest and/or what it takes to work in the entertainment industry sometimes in the future, and this seems like a great opportunity to start my journey and hopefully cure my laziness.
For the next 10 days I have chosen to study Pagodas architecture to familize myself in both the process below and using my tablet.
(1) Collect reference material and create sketches from them
(2) Sketching from imagination
(3) Refine and emphasise design
(4) Finalize a design
Not particular happy about the result, if you count the time it took. Drawing with the wacom tablet is hard and I will proberbly continue sketching from reference two more days before moving on to (2) skeching from imagination.
