Really nice work man. I know how it is to not improve for a while. It is usually a sign you found a comfortzone. Trying new things breaks that.

    Hi choonhachat,

I love the pencil pages and your latest image holds so much potential, cant wait to see how it progresses.

On the subject of showing no improvement, I agree with Saraiva. Maybe try drawing/painting an unfamiliar subject using a new medium, but whatever you do dont stop creating

Hope that helps and I look forward to seeing more from you.

Ah awesome stuff! Your sense of form is impeccable, and your facial expressions are really... well... expressive!

Do you do a ton of life studies? What would you say is the best method of practicing?

Love your sketches. Your linework is amazing and I really like the looseness in the quick-sketches.

Thank you so much! Its so hard to get out of the comfort zone but I am trying! I often find myself not satisfied with the outcome and get intimidated by it. I gotta practice more so I can be more consistent.

Thanks aburnier! I carry around a 3.5"x5" moleskine with me. The small size is convenient and not as intimidating. I havent been out the house lately so I havent gotten the chance to practice, but I try to draw from life as much as possible Oh and o to the figure drawing session/class any chance you get!

I did this copy of Donovan Valdes' Hell's Gate today and learned a few things that led me to make this!

Absolutely gorgeous work. Only thing that bugs me on this page is how thin the cigarette on your preview image is.

The viking looks like a badass.
