Funny stuff, never would have seen tardis in space. Reinterpret the grids, I reinterpret yours, you reinterpret mine, it takes extra effort after someone has given it a context, see many possibilities.

    I'm enjoying watching this.

I hope I don't sound totally ignorant when I ask -- what's the purpose of these? Do they help you learn composition or something? Or are they for the hell of it?

I'm feelin' your reinterpretation of #6. That would make a good picture.

A little more detail and color in the descriptions. Sometimes be vague, sometimes be detailed, but don't force something that wants to remain vague to be detailed, and don't be vague about something that should be detailed.

    1. an old motor design from the 17th century, it's covered in layers of old grease and oil, its pitch black
    2. a man walks in on his cheating wife, his arm hanging from the top of the picture tells the story, he has dropped his coat which was established in the preceding shot, his arm also blocks the x-rated details from view
    3. space craft hurtles to earth, smoke and debris everywhere, clear blue sky, the contrast heightens the horror
    4. a school stairwell, an individual sitting on the steps, the walls are a sort of hospital green
    5. an old couple at the movies, the husband is taking his seat as his wife nags
    6. a huddle of people, something important is being written on the ground, it is silent and the wind is still
    7. two thugs hide in the shadows, there faces barely visible
    8. an individual by the name of Prateek is on a small boat headed toward the viewer, shimmering wake
    9. back view of a mysterious man in a hat
    10. the defendant waits to hear the verdict, the podium towers above him
    11. faces of the thugs from #7 revealed in light
    12. scene with voice over "view of the city as we approach"

Take the grids and develop them in a horizontal and vertical frame measuring 8x12. It is most convenient to fit 9 pictures on a page, if you want to do all twelve go ahead and use an extra paper but it's just extra scanning time. Stay loose but start to develop the image, use your vocabulary from the non objective images. Learn to talk in pictures.
