Hi everyone! I'm new around here. Some background on me: I graduated from MICA several years ago with a degree in animation (focusing in 2D)...which I've seldom used since. Go me! For a few years I was really in a rut, I'd almost stopped drawing entirely, but I'm slowly pulling myself out of that. I recently decided to go back to school, switching gears to illustration, and this is where I'm planning to start the long trek to portfolio rejuvenation. This'll be where I post sketches, finished pieces, and studies, in an effort to keep myself motivated and hopefully get some support and advice. My preferred mediums are watercolor, pencil, and digital. Right now I use the iOS program ProCreate, along with my Sensu brush stylus.
Nice to meet you all!

I have a bad habit of not really paying enough attention to what I'm drawing while I am drawing it. I get ahead of myself and start drawing what I imagine is there instead of what's actually there! So I decided to see if working on some blind contour drawing would help me with discipline. I always hated doing blind contours in school, but I really enjoyed these!
