    Get good or die trying

Hey guys! My name is Yuri and there is my journey begins. Im drawing for about 2 months for now.i decided to follow advice of a great artist Marc Brunet to focus on one fundamental thing at once and such tging is anatomy. i won't go any further until i'll master anatomy. The measurement of mastering for me is level of Jeong Juno's art.Any tips along the way and critiques will be highly appreciated! So lets go ahead and move to the dream

And my first sketch will be studies of the head.

Not bad for starting off. Keep it up and force yourself to draw everyday for a set amount of time! Have fun with it too! I'd definitely recommend Sycra and Sinix's channel. They really inspired me to keep drawing when I was first starting out.

That's really good for having only drawn in 2 months! I really like the hooded guy in he bottom of studies #2, and the darkhaired woman in #3.

    Keep it up!

First of all, thanks for your comments, guys! And for a kind words! Vatina, the one you liked were drawn from reference, the woman from photo and hooded guy is a part of other dude's concept art though. Right now im trying to make some appealing stuff from imagination, but it seems like i need to feed my brain with enough amount of photos, pictures of the subject and life drawings before i will be able to produce believable results.

Really nice job on the torsos and hands. Looks like you got the anatomy down.

I can see that you like drawing heads. I personally think that they are one of the hardest things to draw (even worse than hands). I recommend checking out Andrew Loomis's Drawing the Head and Hands in order to get an idea of how proportions work and everything, it's used extensively.

Hey there! Yea, i already have a Loomis's book, its great, but i need more life drawing stuff to be done before i can feel the power of Loomis planes in all its glory

Thx man, but its just a drawings from references, its easier for me to draw a male body than anything else due to a long time gym experience.

The most challenging part for me right now is to place an object, even well known, in the space using right perspective.

I'd recommend Gottfried Bammes for books as well, if you could get a pdf of Der Nackte Mensch it has lots of references (both drawn and in pictures) for both faces and bodies. Your values are also looking good. They'd benefit from more contrast, eg push the shadows and the highlights

Heads must go on ... :D

Here i decided to try Loomis's approach again due to the comment of IioiI, but again it was a frustrating experience - people's heads quickly turned into a mutant like terrifying crap and amount of time i spent on drawing them is ridiculous i didnot delete two of them, but the lower two heads i did in another way - just to reward myself and feel a bit better after all. I feel like im missing something important in Loomis's guide...
