Unhappy Website runinng too slow in Chrome and Firefox

I don't know why the new website runs too slow in both web browsers, in the top bar there is a little loading bar that never stop loading. I test the website in my laptop and desktop.

When the forum is being backed up, you might find loading times a bit slow.

Hi Black Spot, thanks for the reply, I have no problem loading the website, the problem is when I'm scrolling or opening more than 3 tabs of conceptart.org. If I compare this new website with the older one, is about 90% slower, don't get me wrong, I love the new layout but I think it needs to be optimized.

It's also very slow on my computer (I'm using Chrome, but Firefox is the same). It feels like there are too many things to load. If you don't plan to optimize the site, I'd love to have an option to turn off some unnecessary stuff like "show me the last 10", "hot" etc.

What upload speed do you have? It's pretty fast on mine and not that bad on my phone.

As a matter of fact, The website is slightly slow indeed.
IMHO, images (attachments) should be hosted at different domain and chat should be removed from each page because chat time can take up to 2s which is really slow.
It wouldn't be bad to make some sort of chat room rather.

I feel like the website is indeed slow, and connection to the server is a major issue for me for some reason right now for the last week. The website won't even load in Safari or Firefox for me lately, and if I do manage to get through and try to post in the sketchbook forums, it wants to stop working when I try posting a photo. I'm using a recently bought Mac, and am using Google Fiber, I don't know what the issue is....

I know. I did report it, but it seems okay now.
