    Ohhh, nice! Pretty grim theme, love it. I think I will be taking part in this one, sketching something and shall post a WIP shortly

    Some ideas
    #5 is the same scenario as #3, but on a lower perspective. I don't know why I laid it vertically, it's village, an horizontal arrangement would be better, I think..

    creepy subject

    @GoodSoup : looks good so far , i liked #2 more it has a feeling of a watch tower looking people passing by

    @BlindLynx : I gotta stop with those delays .. if you see this , congrats on winning EOW #227 great piece! and i'm glad to hear everything is doing OK at home!

    I want to make this pass more creepy that you would fear to enter but not showing blood or stuff like that..

    Here are my two really rough thumbnails, as you can see both of them have different takes on the theme.
    Will develop further...

    I wanted to do a landscape so thought I'd have a bash at this. A bit cartoony, but I'll go with it...

    @blindlynx, these thumbnails are awesome!
    I really like 2 & 3, but the colours are maybe a bit too friendly for a cannibal village. Perhaps the village appears friendly to lure unsuspecting victims in, and you could describe it's more sinister aspects in the details.

    @OverlordGunnar - Thank you, I was going for the 6, with that middle american atmosphere... I'm not really in the cartoon style of 2 and 3, and I really dunno where they came from =) I like them too, and you crit give me the will to try the 3rd (I really like teh composition of this one). Why your not in this time?

    Started this thing way too late in the challenge. It's quite a neat topic so I'll finish it even though I won't make the deadline.

    Depicting a tibetan-esc village that has been taken over by a tribe of savages. Two members of the tribe are dragging their latest victim into the centre.

    Dang I didn't finish on time .

    Still need to add in the story elements as to tie into the theme.
