The long and tedious journey of Atr4tus
After a time of creepstalking i finally got the courage to make a sketchbook threat myself.
There's not much to say about me, 21, self-taught (maybe a year serius now) and tryhing hard to get better.

I don't feel that I'm on a good enough level to tell you anything.. Maybe you can try to put a story into your work? an enviroment or characters interacting with eachother.? (Easier said then done, i know...) When I feel stuck I just do something completely diffrent and try out new stuff. Anyways, Thats my horrible attempt at helping you keep drawing! Looking forward to seeing more of your artwork

You're probably right.. but i'm too concerned with stuff like technique and basics to focuse on design let alone storytelling - gonna try nonetheless
here another quick sketch, some kind of fungi forrest - I'm gonna throw a figure or statue in and try my rendering skills

I really like these drawings and paintings, especially the quality your brush strokes have on the coloured images. I do agree that the designs could do with more development because what you have is really interesting and it would be cool to see them more fleshed out. Awesome work so far!

funny how you sometimes instantly fall in love with a brush painterly-chalk brush
(i just jumpend into the painting, should have done a proper perspective setup and sketch :/ )

I was going to say just look out for depth in your drawings but you're already leveling up on that one. AAhhh, I have no advice haha. Just keep drawing everyday and you're definitely going to improve. I already see you have good concept ideas and your environments are looking mighty rad.
Oh, watch out for the anatomy around the pectorals on the last drawing. It may just be the shading, but it's slightly out of angle or shaped illogically in proportion to the body.

Yeah, anatomy man.. the bane of my existance - finally got up and ordered a copy of hamptons figure drawing - design and invention and gonna work through that.. i realy like his structured aproach
hear some thumpnails and wip from today:
i think i need a detailed drawing instead of painting over the thumpnail
