    Thanks! There are several positive and negative things that I've been dealing with in this assignment!
    To start with the positive ones: -I've been learning to decipline myself to sit down every day and paint a portrait of myself, considering the fact that my schedule is almost never empty
    -perfecting my ability to draw portraits, and really hacking it into my brain
    -value and color study
    -coming up with new styles, new brushworks, new lighting situations and...

    but beware, there's the danger that all of your mind doodling might look like you,

    my suggestion would be to start a figure drawing/still life study assignment with a crazy number and stick to it, there's a much lower possibility of going insane

    Have you thought about pushing the idea of the 1001 even further?
    I mean drawing your face like you were very obese, black, a woman, or a doll... or all together!

    Anything unrelated to elephants is irrelephant.

    Yeah, you could draw yourself as different animal-like people. Or like if you were that race.. The Navi? From Avatar? Or like you were comic book superhero and got sharp teeth and wolverine claws. lol. Have fun with it, man. It's been looking awesome so far.

    @Tiggeraz: there's a fight happening inside me, I'm improving my technical abilities and at the same time, I see awesome Ideas and suggestions like yours, that are very hard not to apply, but the thing is getting some of them right really needs a certain level of skill that I lack right now, but It will come a day when I paint that obese black woman/doll . thanks for the suggestion

    @misty: yep, animals are on my mind, specially monkeys that have a slight similarity to people! Thank you for the suggestions, and thanks for checking out my stuff regularly, it's been great

    @mothman: thanks man

    @anime-master-68 Thanks man, Yep you weren't here for a while, I've been painting a lot lately
    that's definitely one of the things that I'm considering, but I should to tons more of Sargent studies to really get the ability to capture his style, but that's a great Idea!

    Well done. Better start planning something special for that first three digit selfie! How long do these usually take?

    @misty: Thank you

    @agerkvist: thanks! yep, It's kinda crazy to know that I spend sometimes 5 hours on a normal daily selfie, n now that it's a special one, I should put on maybe 10, 20 hours on it to really raise the bar...

    Wow, number 95 makes it look like something is wrong with my screen lol. It should come with a cool voiceover "do not adjust your computer monitor, this image is just that awesome" :p

    See my Sketchbook!!!!!!!!

    97! I really need to learn how to put on clean lines and avoid being so sloppy while I'm painting, cause it takes a lot of time to clean it up!

    I tried to adopt dave rapoza's latest style, cause It's super clean and really show's off your skill in putting in lines and hatching, which I have none!

    Nice updates!

    95 is a really powerful image, it could be a book cover/film poster and the colours used in 96 are very cool.
