    Concept: Alien Ankle Biters

After water was discovered on the planet Voss119, outposts were built on the far edges of the marshlands. The plant-life of Voss possessed healing minerals never seen before. Rumors started to spread that small creatures could be seen growing in number and becoming agitated. As several months passed and more people began to set up research centers, the creatures became angry. Soldiers were then sent out to patrol the marshlands. That's when the creatures began to swarm in numbers and attack the ankles and legs of the soldiers.

Hisser: A hissing beetle-like creature that makes a loud hissing noise before it attacks.
Deke: A quiet little creature with the temper of an angry spider if provoked. They don't like moving. They stay hidden next to plants by standing perfectly still and in large numbers.
Jumper: When their nests are threatened, Jumpers will coordinate an attack, jumping at the ankles from all sides before injecting a venom that can melt limbs off.
Banshee: A fast but quiet creature. It hides in tall grass and needs a running start to fly.
Zipper: A quick, angry little creature that shoots a harpoon-like tongue and latches on to the victim. They reach speeds of 15 mph if out in the open.
Croaker: A grumpy, hard biter. They won't let go unless you burn them off.

Stranded on an uncharted alien world, the player stumbles into hostile territory. These aliens aggressive and territorial aliens possess a complex social structure. Foragers are the weakest type and encountered first individually or in small groups, providing needed food for skilled players, but can appear in overwhelming numbers. Hunters appear once the player makes itself known to the herd, possessing a disturbing intelligence and appearing in groups of 4-9 to ambush the player when they least expect it. Assassins possess a powerful venomous spit and equally powerful bite. Guardians are the most aggressive breed, with thick hides and sharp tusks, they defend groups of foragers in teams of 1-4, but defend the ancient and powerful Matriarch in seemingly endless numbers.

Crawlers are small insect-like creatures that lives in big tropical forests. Despite their size they're still dangerous since they always travel around in masses and when provoked they may devour you, it may take a few hours though...
Engulfers are some weird looking creatures that lives on wet places, mostly around marshes or lakes. They're not really hostile. Don't get too close though, they might engulf you.
Meatmaggots are huge worms with some nasty looking teeth. They prefer the darkness, therefore they can mostly be found in caves or deep big forests. And, as the name suggests, meatmaggots really have a thing for meat so you better watch out.
Neckflies, named after their long "necks" favors desert-type landscapes. They survive by their perfect and broad vision (They can look any direction by moving their neck) combined with their swiftness - it helps them catch their prey. They're rather harmless for bigger creatures though. They can be really bothersome though.
The Voyagor's location is the oceans. They are very different to any other sea creature because of their weird shape and especially the "Davy Jones" mouth they possess. Those tentacles are poisonous and makes it rather troubblesome for victims to flee.

And the Engulfer in its natural habitat

[/B] These guys are from a desert world that your starfighter had crash landed on. They are all found in a valley riddled with caves and stone spires. The Glow Horn and Spiker fight for dominance on the valley floor and among the caves while the Trouble Bee and the Humbug fight for dominance of the skies. The GlideHawk preys on any of these so long as they have the greater numbers!

Spear Head - Looks suspiciously like it would fit on top of a spear. Stores helium inside its body, which shines red through its carapace, to float in the air. Their anatomy allows them to fly in a up and down serpentine pattern to confuse enemies especially in large numbers. They like to fly into enemies' legs, wrapping their "arms" around the leg and biting into them. Some are found in-between and over multiple planets.

Dart Fly - Resembles a dragonfly but with a pointed head. It uses pierces the skin with its head and injects a mild venom before sucking blood with its hidden proboscis. This venom is deadly when multiple Dart Flies inject them. Most are seen around jungles.

Gnasher - Likes to hop around and has a nasty bite. They live in desert environments.

Flash Fish - Lives in the sea. When it sees a threat it releases chemicals from its belly that creates a bright fog with low visibility. Most Flash Fish like to use this mechanism to get close and attack.

Lasher - Moves slowly but has a scythe at the end of its tail. It lashes out at anything that comes close to it. Also has a strong bite should you dare to get even closer. Found in woodlands and swamps.

    Concept: Ankle Biters

1-Sac-Burster: Incredible jumpers, they will use their suction like mouths to latch onto foes and their transparent sacs will burst covering their foe in necrotizing toxins. The individual is killed in the process but serve as a defensive mechanism for keeping intruders away from their colony. The toxins can cause a lot of damage but will be neutralized when introduced to water.

2-Arrowhead: Only a few inches long they can be found in shallow waters in large numbers ranging from about six to a few dozen. They are normally docile but can be quite aggressive when threatened. Their sharp bodies pierce into predators and sometimes will not exit until passing completely through their foe using their bony fins to wiggle their way through.

3-Pin-gliderCapable of gliding short distances, they use the spikes on their heads and wings to help stabalize their landing between trees. Unfortunately they tend to mistake other creatures as trees at times so it seems like they may be attacking but they merely made a poor judgment. Doesn't hurt any less though...

4-Trizard: Venomous Barbs extend in and out of it's back, for protection against larger predators. They also wield two large fangs on it's two appendage like upper mandibles. A Group of these small predators can easily take down an elephant sized creature with their venom. Extremely hostile, use caution if Trizards are spotted in the area.

5-Sand Scorpion: Watch where you step. These timid creature will often burrow in sand and dirt, leaving just their stingers exposed. Their tough carapace is capable of taking a lot of damage. However their vulnerable undersides as well as their slow movements, makes them easy pickings if they do not hide.
