Overall I like the texture of your paintings. The third one down is particularly striking with the hot and cold palette and is my favorite of this bunch. What's going on in the first picture, though? Is it a fish biting a statue?

    Hi Greg and welcome,

Love the idea behind the Alientrooper image, it made me chuckle, and the weapon design is brutal but very cool.

Although like Vigistry i'd like to know the meaning/thinking behind the first image, enlighten us.

Thanks for the interest. The first image has no name or may be simply called Abstraction I. It started as swatches of shape and color. I used 4th image (Fire in the Sky) as a palette and started to paint over it (this technique is great for starting new paintings and evading clean canvas problem). I tried not to achieve anything meaningful too soon and focused on abstract structures and forms, than that flute-holding-alien-women-statue emerged with giant fish grasping her fossilized arm. No great meaning behind it and at the same time it might reflect some of my inner thoughts of that time, but it may be interpreted in many ways by anyone who looks at it.
