hell. where your soul is chained, with the foulness of humanity's combined sins dripping on you. you're alone, with nothing but the acid of hatred dripping on you for all eternity in the darkness.

DSG 480 - Open Ended: Hell

Learning to use a Wacom tablet. Learning to be more "sketch-like" - focusing on entire piece for an hour instead of just a corner. This image is "pre-squinted" (reduced from original size).

Very loosely based on online painting
Photoshop with Wacom tablet, 1hr and change

    first post - fun topic

Q: How come hell is always portrayed in predominately red hues and dark values?

A: Because most people get lost in or around the city of Dis and forget to take a stroll down through good ol' Cocytus.

yeah, it's really rough and I cheated (cloned, copy, and pasted the same figure for the sinners) but you get the general idea. was really just playing around trying to come up with a bright shiny hell.

    My Hell

    30mins Photoshop + tablet.
Poodle hell - I really really don't like poodles - especially clipped ones. Sorry Poodle lovers - this is my version of hell (ants are there too).
