    Yo!

I like the rendering of the materials - like you have the glass looking really good and the body definitely feels like painted metal with scratches all over it.

Now for what appears to be wrong with it... The far wing doesn't look like it's mirrored correctly in perspective - it's too far back it needs to shift to the right a fair bit - and I'm not sure the lense flare is really working especially because it is coming off a not very bright part of the reflection - the centre of it is grey so it wouldn't really be bright enough to cause a flare in the camera (knowumsayin?). Finally the tail should fall back more in perspective (i.e. the tip should be smaller than the start). I recommend drawing some guide lines and that should become self evident pretty quickly. In fact the main issues are to do with perspective so if you haven't read norlings 'perspective made easy' it's a good read.

Aside from that, I really like it - it's quirky and looks fun!

Hi! I like it. Very cheery.

I don't know anything about perspective so I can't critique that, but I feel like it might look a little less lonely if there was some other object in there too - maybe a bird, or a couple more flying pods off in the distance. Something to add a second/third focal point and give it some sort of anchor. As is I don't feel like I have much context as to the world this pod-thing is in.
Or if you prefer it as is that's fine too. Just something to consider!

Oh derp, i had some birds in there that I suppose i could put back but thanks guys! I have trouble with perspective on such awkward formed objects like these. Ill check out that book lovingit. Yeah the flare looks bad, don't really know what i was trying to go for with that.

Hows this? Just did a quick copy paste and some bird brushes for more scale.

I personally like the new version better. I'm assuming you'll make the far off ship look a little different.

    Good work!
