    ****POSITIVE ENERGIES***** New Creations

My name is Myles and i'm a student at Cal State Channel Islands. I have been studying concept art for the past 5 years. I'm looking to grow as an artist and as a person overall. I would really like to get involved in this website and be apart of this community so send me critiques and ill return the positive energies!!

This is a current upload of a mixture of portfolio work and color studies done digitally! I would really appreciate critiques and comments and I would love to reply and do the same with others' work.

Looks very promising so far. I especially like the first robot character. Pose is a bit stiff though, but the colors/values are really good.

For your gollem head, try to draw it from different angles... this will help you visualize more so in a 3d space. Get on those fundamentals

    Slow progress, but progress nonetheless...

    Moar positivity!

so I have a pretty big upload. last semester i was working a lot in oil during my life painting class at CSUCI. I had a lot of fun moving from digital work towards oil painting and the process actually helped me learn a lot about color as well as brushwork.

took a story boarding class and that taught me how to churn out a TON of work in a short amount of time. this was just one of the storyboards but we did about 6 or seven total. It definitely helped me work out compositions and how to frame camera angles for a shot.

One of the pieces was also a commission i was working on during the semester. it was crazy cause i was taking 20 unites working as a server and leading Bible studies so i was ridiculously busy in addition to doing the commission but it was a great learning experience in terms of learning time management.

over the summer i have alot more work for illustrating a spiritually oriented vampire novel so i hope to be posting more frequently. =)=)

I also got accepted to study abroad in Italy next year in florence so i will be working on painting in oil over the summer as well.
