Ok, cool. How long have you been doing art? Any professional goals? Or just improving as an enthusiast? Figure that info/related stuff will be helpful for those who want to comment and critique.

Are you drawing these using reference images? I think they are easily distinguishable as animals. How long have you been drawing for now? Also, how long are these taking you? I wish to know so I can try to assist your learning

Hi! Yes, I using reference from intrnet. Timing - no more than 30 min on 1 subject. May assume that a start 4-5 months ago with a study of perspectives.

Alright well I can see you are not 2 dimensional, I can tell you wanted some more perspective in the crocodile picture. For the time you're spending they are looking quite nice. The crocodile's mouth could have been flattened out on the inside of the mouth at the back or a higher viewing angle on the rest of the body. There just seems to be too much space inside the mouth for that angle. Also lighting you've added is a bit distracting and doesn't really need to be in the mouth, it's just burning out some of the original detail. Are these drawn using traditional methods then scanned into photoshop?

The most recent snakes read very well as solid objects. So good job with the form on those. The first crab in the previous post looks a bit flat though. Particularly the back left leg. I don't see it as being planted on the ground, but rather curling up and back towards the crabs body. I think that's the case because the furthest away forms seem to be over lapping some of the ones that are closer. That might just be me though!

You said you wanted eventually to go into concept design, right? Since you're doing so many animals, I think it'd be cool to see you take an animal and do some study drawings of it and figure out/research what it uses to feel and eat and see and walk and how those parts look and fit into the body, etc. and then design a creature based on what you've learned from looking at your chosen animal's anatomy (even if you only have access to surface anatomy and not musculature).

Hi! and thanks for you crit!
Firs crab realy not very perspective. But I try to fix perspective in second crabby.
Indeed, lessons for a little smeared goal - concept design, so the next post will be some combination beast. And of cource - the usual sketch.

Hey man, you're work is definitely improving I like the thought you put into mapping out those planes, and then the hybrid creature was well designed haha. I love the train, just some shapes on some things are a bit off. I Like that you redrew the crocodile in basic shapes then re-rendered in smoother lines.
