    Goodbrush.com Update

I just noticed this today (not sure how long it has been) but Craig Mullins's website Goodbrush.com just got a major (and much needed) overhaul.

It's much easier to find his new works, (there is a last uploads button) and a section for his favorites (nothing there yet).

Anyways check it out, it looks really nice.

His stuff is very nice indeed He made me realize that a few accurate strokes is much more ... benefiting than rendering out a lot of pointless shizzle. You might not see it now, but his style had quite a large impact on mine.
But as you get better at painting/rendering and exploiting 'happy accidents' maybe drawing and design suffer? Of course drawing a 'Raptor class AssaultDroid with H&K shoulder mounted gatlinguns' - type of design might not be Mullin's thing, but I feel my own art has suffered a little. I don't have patience for drawing and planning out proper designs with a decent detail level anymore. It's much simpler to just make the blobs work.

Jamen jag tror att han skäms, och har gömt sig. Vårt universum det är en av dom otaliga spermasatser som Herren i sin självhärliga ensamhet har runkat fram för å besudla intet.

This is great ! Personally, I find His work to be the most inspiring of all the digital artists' that I've seen (enough to get my lazy ass to learn digi painting ).

What I don't understand is His tendency to say that His own drawing skills aren't strong. They seem damn good to me! Is He simply being humble ? Or is He comparing drawing skills with the masters like Bouguereau?

Hmm, there are some visitors who rate a number of His paintings 2 out of 5 . They must have some serious jealousy going on there...

Sorry for the smiley spammage... I was somewhat bored...

he's so good with stroke economy in his paintings...they're so confident.

Probably the best speedpaint thread on the internet:

goddamn! I had seen a few of his paintings before but that site's blowing my mind. I'll be hanging out there often, studying and dissecting.

whats angering me is the fact that the majority of all his images have a rating of 1.5 (out of 5) or lower.

these people think it's a bad painting because it's quick and "grimy" (to me, that's grimy in a good way!)
Idiots! They don't know how to really "see art," not all good paintings are super neat and refined...
