    Robots handmade sculpture

    Hello,

I am a freelance modelmaker. I’ve been working for 7 years in stop motion animation for companies like Aardman in Bristol and various studios in Paris, on props, sets, and characters.

Here are some of the more recent sculptures I have been working on.
I starded to draw my design and then I sculpted it, a really great pleasure to be not assisted by computer and 3D printers..
Prototypes are made with modelboard, metal and styrene sheet… some parts are turned.
All robots were molded with silicone to be cast with polyurethane resin.
I also did the paint job process with airbrush which was a good fun.

    haha cool.
I don't know what it is about robot sculptures.
they just seem so much more worth while than other things. even if they are simpler.

it just seems cooler to see a robot built in real life than say.. a tiger..

    strange but yeah looks neat!

It's not a 3D computer work, it's traditional art sculpture (handcrafted), you can't count the poly

I can't believe these aren't 3d models, you've given the photos a very digital look which makes it hard to believe they are hand-crafted, nice job. Is there any digital elements to these? (3d modeling/photoshop work)

The scooter is awesome and easily the best of the bunch! Ver Coo
