    Sylvain's Sketchbook

Hi! I'm Sylvain from France and I'm opening my sketchbook thread here to have critics and comments
I have worked in the art field for 6 years now, but I recently quit my job to have time to travel as much as possible. I use my free time before left my country to skill up and try a lot of new technics and try to come back to the fine and traditionnal art (I allways worked in a digital ways previously, and I missed real papyer )

Hope it will be a great place for me to share my progress with you ^^
    Have a nice day !

Let's begin with some still life sketches

These are really good still life studies. Great observation, shapes and lines. I would like to see you using shading and tones (maybe difficult with pens). Look forward to your updates.

The studies you've done are really nice, I think it would be good to go darker with values to add more depth though. The portraits are looking great too, you can see the improvement in that one post already. Keep it up.
