I'm a 19 year old aspiring digitalconceptartistpainterillustrate
I've been drawing on and off since I was like two, but never took it seriously until recently.
So here's my sketchbook, Crits is greatly appreciated, can't wait to see your guy's work as well!
Google images as refrences

Master study of the day
I feel improvement flowing through my veins
self portrait for fun
Color & light practice, no color picker no tracing
Nice stuff. Really dig the skulls from last year. The first 2 images are awesome too. Doing master studies is sure way too improve. I don't know but your pencil lines look way better to me than your digital. Please keep posting.

Punkhead: Thanks a lot man! I have tons of stuff I could upload, mostly studies from
Levelup. Lol, the secret to the sketches line thickness, and using a red sanguine pencil (they're amazing)!
Couple more recent ones:
no color picker
10 hour on the mona lisa, still working on it too..
Hey thanks for stopping by my sketchbook!
I can't get over your master studies. Their all so well done, I would never have the confidence to try something like that. Also, your hair is kickass in those self portraits.

So far you've done very well with your studies. I'd like to see what you can do without reference now. My only advise on your works so far is to focus on the relationships and depth. You should get to the point you're getting to when your finished, then zoom in even further and refine the details and edges it's easy to stop and say you've done enough, so try to work on more detailed finishing.

AdaptableSimon: You're right, been working on non-reference pieces but I'm too ashamed to put them up yet LOL. Depth and atmosphere have been a big challenge, maybe my weakest area. Thanks again for the advice!!!
Quick celebrity study lol
Latest master color study

Sketches for classes, Noah's Ark of ethnicity
The girl with two swords is a color study of http://madspartan013.deviantart.com/ (amazing artist)
Finally something from imagination lol, finally learned how to use color, thanks to this post:
More recent imagination sketches. Really inspired by
Joel's SB Progress! Decided to start painting and drawing for at least 4 hours a day.
Some LOTR screen studies, under hour each
Some star wars screen caps, about hr each
From the past couple weeks, I'm so bad at drawing now that I see it in a new perspective lol
something's seriously wrong with these figures, I thinks my desk is too high which distorts the perspective
I realized I don't have enough actual sketches on here lol, that's because I never really sketch traditionally
I'm really bad at arms, and worse at architecture, I gotta get my study hat....
Hey ubemm ,
Thanks for stopping by my sketchbook! Keep up the good work! You'll definitely improve as long as you don't stop drawing. I envy your good sense of colors in your studies!
