    alchemy sketches

Post your Alchemy stuff. Preferably stuff done with just Alchemy. All Alchemy Forums seem to be dead. So, maybe we can share here. And give other people a chance to see what some people have done with the program.

Wow so much energy. Reminds me of Metal Slug game. I like the 2nd one of the first post and post 2. I want to try to do the same thing. Though I couldn't really get the hang of alchemy when I did use it. I love the idea you have of just using alchemy. Really cool stuff. Keep it up !

Alchemy is really hard to get the hang of. Besides that I think it really lends itself to certain subject matters and not so much to others. It took me a while to start to get the hang of it and figure out what i could use it for. Ultimately I think I kept messing with it because it's fast. I end up finishing what I start way faster than if I would of done something with a raster program. Also, it was designed by a designer. And therefore it has certain idiosyncrasies about it that feel like they come from a designer and also that feel like traditional mediums. Like the medium just running out of control. Traditional medium just runs out of control and you have to just go with it. With Alchemy you also have to do more with less. Kind of try and plan stuff out in a few steps. And let it happen and be. I could really just go on and on about it, but it seems like nobody is in to it. Because of the loss of control nobody likes it. I can understand that. But, it's just a sketching program. So, I just sketch with it. Sometimes you just end up with garbage. I have a lot of those.

lotsa cool stuff, i love the super 'lumpy' thing you got going in some pics (like glitch bot and m-tigrez, love those) youre pretty good at tossing shapes together and making cool & strange stuff. def keep going, ur going PLACES

Edit: oh, maybe practice some human anatomy/ faces, or use reference for your human figures (that arent super lumpy cause those are cool), cause seeing those awkward people ruins some of your pics a bit for me. Might also be a stylistic thang that aint down my alley, in which case, carry on.
