    Verehin's place

Hey folks, wow, I'm back! Long time not posted, many things happening, few years ago I started to learn how to draw, here, on CA, now dreams become real, I work with Wizards and Games Workshop, but still learn how to draw

Now I dont have any stuff for sketchbook, but can show you something finished.
Here is a few personal works, one for Applibot. Hope I'll be able to post more client works soon.

This stuff is amazing! Particularly the deer one. Anatomy is all well and good, but it's something I understand. Things like grass and foliage on the other hand... Man, that's just awesome.

Not to say the other stuff isn't great; it's wunderbar mate!

Like the shark picture lots - took me a while to work out he had a mermaid slung over his shoulder but when I did - EVIL! ahhh... the horrible thoughts of men.

Oh and if you want to watch me paint live I recently got introduced to this thing called picarto TV... It's nice to do art and share it - if you have any questions it's great to talk too! I'm painting pretty much 12 hours a day so you'll most likely find me - unless I'm eating

Amazing forest/path - such a rich painting. Shark is great too - but it took me a while to notice the mermaid. Thick, visible ropes might work for that.

    Hi Verehin,

You have another fan right here.

The snowman image is quite disturbing, but a great image especially with the addition of the mouse. I also love the red and blue skinned creature in the last post.

As for crits I agree with Alexei.B's comment about making the rope more visible. Also, its a very small thing, but the grip of the staff the man is holding in the applibot image looks flat compared to the rest of the image.

Amazing work, cant wait to see more.

    Thanks for posting Verehin,
There's a definite creepy factor going on with a lot of these, but no matter how disturbing, I can't quite peel my eyes away! On a scale of 1 to 10, where were you with your drawing ability when you first started on CA, versus now? Perhaps your answer can give some of us hope. Cheers.

    dope, so much detail.
I was liking your stuff, but a bit icked out (not a bad thing haha) by the ammount
    of mushy looking flesh everywhere.
But then I saw the highly detailed snow around the snowman and was really impressed.

I'd like to see your hand at work on some non entertainment-design style artwork.
