Hi! I hope you guys don't mind me posting this here. I've just launched my first kickstarter. The Male Planar Statue. I believe will be very good to have as reference for the aspiring game artist. I hope that I could get your support! and if you like it please share it! Thank you!

That's a very good sculpt and an excellent resource.

Oh and if you want to watch me paint live I recently got introduced to this thing called picarto TV... It's nice to do art and share it - if you have any questions it's great to talk too! I'm painting pretty much 12 hours a day so you'll most likely find me - unless I'm eating

There's an adroid app very similar to this, only it doesn't have the plane of the form. It has male and female figures.
"Everything must serve the idea. The means used to convey the idea should be the simplest and clear. Just what is required. No extra images. To me this is a universal principle of art. Saying as much as possible with a minimum of means."

Yeah but as I understand it, this is going to be a physical model that you can sit on your desk and pose - kinda like a super advanced mannequin. It's not bad value at £60 a pop - maybe for Christmas!

You can pose this? The way it is designed suggests a rigid statue.

In any case, will the author tweak the proportions to make them more realistic, or is that sample the final design?

Hi Everyone! Just to answer a few of your questions. No it won't be poseable. It will just be made into a physical statue with various heads. The model is being checked by an anatomy professor from Anatomy 4 Sculptors so there will definitely be some good improvements to it. Hopefully an update soon with better images And we've also just made our first stretch goal so another additional head will be made as a gift!

For my next project I'm going to do a female version. then after that it could be different kinds of reference statues.
