here's a couple covers i drew for Marvel:
Powerless #4 & Identity Disc #5
I was happy I got to mix in some bizarre dark fantasy elements into the landscape on the Powerless cover.
I did the line art & they were then colored by some Marvel colorists.
hey, great work!
love the saturated style, still easy to read though.. i want more!
This is an excellant cover - I particually like the way you have used Juggernaut's 'back' as the base for the other characters.
The way you have protrayed Juggy is great. Would love to see more of your work on him and the other Marvel characters.
outstanding!!! the whole package, design, composition... not to mention the absolutely masterful drawing style, this is great.
reminds me a little of Glenn Fabry's work. do you use much photo ref? would be cool to see your process.

huh.. Haven't you posted these before ? Never the less, they're still outstanding.
Manu is malin-thanx
Ogrebear-Juggernaut turned out looking better than I though he would...his helmet is a bit odd to draw
PJM-thanx, I'm not too familiar with Fabry's work. I didn't use any photo ref on these covers...however, I do sometimes use photo ref...just depends on the illo. I can try to dig up some pencil scans if you are interested in seeing that.
egerie- Nope, I have't posted these here...maybe you saw them in Marvel Previews or the Powerless one is in my web gallery...or maybe everything i draw looks exactly the same:0
No photo Ref.........Um...Ok. I quit.
wonderful work. Compositionally something seems wrong with the first image. Peter's left hand seems to be streaching open that guy's mouth in the back. Either that, or his mouth is trying to eat Peter's hand. It's too conflicting right there infront of his mouth, but Peter's face and body are striking.

I really really love these
Im not sure about sabertooths hair...Its sort of blocked out and has thicker outlines around it. Looks a little more Gooy than hairy...But that may just be me,
At any rate
Id take classes on doing faces and mouths from you any day
especialy mouths..I struggle there myself.
hey, sick stuff - no crits!!!!
would be nice to see the colored versions as well, if thats possible!
again really good stuff, this is why i love marvel comics ^^
You are without a trace of doubt one of the best inkers I've ever seen.
Fantastic works. espeacially face of Osborn and hand of Peter Parker.
awsome! your ink works always amaging.
wanna see your pencle work
I really do not offer that up much ---- so take it for what its worth!!!!
only problem i see is spidey's right arm being way thin and under-proportioned for his body in comparison to the other arm
Bad ass the detail is insane !
one2hit already said it, but I'll reiterate it since I noticed it right away. Not digging the odd tangents/compositional elements created by Peters upraised hand and the far figures mouth. Definately makes it funky. Hopefully the colorist managed to minimize that.
Beyond that, fantastic work as usual. So much detail. Ugh.

OFF DA HOOK!!!! your inkwork...goddammn man...your inkwork...-c36
one question ..... how long do these take you?
Thanx for all the comments!
one2hit-I wasn't too worried about that compositional element, since i knew this would be colored...the face was faded back....actually I think it was faded a little too much on the colors. thanx for the crit.
Blitz- I wasn't happy with Sabretooth's hair either...it was much better on the cover for ID #4... thanx for pointin' that out
marc-pierre-I'll try to post colors when i get a chance...the powerless#4 color is up in my gallery:
they are also in Previews and on Marvel solicits on the net
Ra Havok- thanx, I like inking
facezero- thanx, some pencils are up in my web gallery, I'll try to post more sometime
nightfall-that's actually supposed to be like that...in the comic Peter has a weak, withered away arm
fukifino- see response to one2hit...thanx for the heads up though
el coro-thanx man!
kraal-not sure, more than 20 mins...I remember finishing the pencil and inking the Powerless cover in one sitting...it kinda hurt though
I can't find the colored images...can we get links to them once they are up?
