One hundred day challenge #2 - Human Anatomy - LMS MODE
This is the official thread for the 100 days of Human Anatomy Challenge
-Post once a day in this thread. Failing to post within 24 hours results in being eliminated from the challenge meaning you will not be able to post within the thread again.
- Spend at least 30 minutes each day study and apply the study in some way. There is no limit to how long you can spend on each study as long as it is completed within 24 hours.
-The study can be done in values, lines,or color and in any medium you like.
-Once you have done your study, you need to somehow apply it, for instance:
You spend 20 minutes doing torso studies with boxes and/or muscles by copying from books / photos, then you have to at least do one torso from imagination
-Post everyday both on Ca http://hundreddaysofanatomy.tumblr.com/( in case ca goes downs or has problems with uploading )
-Use http://xtremeive.net/100daychallenge/anatomy to keep track of time, big thanks to Xtremeive for helping us do the site! http://xtremeive.net/
Its open to whatever way you want to approach it, whether you want to start with the head, torso, legs arms, skeleton or even full body studies, anything goes as long as its human anatomy.
Be sure to take help from books and online sources to make sure you benefit as much as possible from this challenge
Useful links for gesture drawing:
Always remember once you do a study, to always apply it afterwards in some way you find beneficial to you and relevant to what you studied.
Post both and mention which is the study and which is the imaginative one
STUDY - FROM IMAGINATION
Lets all become masters of muscles of bones!

Yey, thanks for adding me!
Day 1, time about 1,5 hours
Even doing this on my computer and with my tablet is nothing short of a miracle. I`ll try posting something traditional tomorrow.
EDIT - tablet started working, did a male from memory.

Jeah, day 1,
some simpel torso studies, 2 ref drawings with markers and pencil and one really shitty from imagination ((((( hate anatomy
Day one, 5 and a half hours.
about 4 hours or whatever - asaro studies, poses with heads and the applied study on the lollypop guy who obviously posseses a head too.
Quick one, was busy today.
Left is a study, right is application.
Time: 2.5 hrs
about 3h-4h worth of work quick ones are from life 2 min each
Hey all, so I started by doing warm ups of 10 second poses and then moved on to studying the torso per the challenge suggestion. This will serve as a primary benchmark for my initial ability to draw a torso with limited understanding. I did form studies of the torso and then applied them to these two images. I also focused on learning the primary differences between male and female torso forms.
