I love your style! Particularly your line work.
Thank you very much Eliza.
hey there my post from today
this my value-study/portrait
is acutally my first digital portrait ever.
learned a lot!! so much fun !
Welcome aboard Janos! your stuff is looking good. Youīve got a nice handling of perspective. The portrait came out pretty good especially for a first try. The only thing that I miss in the portrait is a little life. To me he feels more like a mannequin than a living person, mostly because of his cold look.
I hope to see more of your work soon .
thank your very much i try to improve on that !!!
wow your sketchbook is great so much good stuff in that i really like your traditional sketches!
first sorry for the lack of updates im quiet busy I hade to finish my product design portfolio for the school I want to enroll
itīs the first of four portfolios I had plan to do for this year
The other schoolīs are different topicīs. Game Design & Industrial Design
But I will not post this stuff itīs just boring objects in perspective.
I will finish my portfolio to Monday and than I can continue my personal stuff !!finally !! >.<
here is just a little quick sketch
more stuff coming soon
still pretty busy with my industrial design portfolio
just some sketchbook pages..still just sketch them when I go by train
*It is a marathon not a sprint*
finally I have more time to work more on my bloq
I found the old picture of my first project what did before I ever even sketched
I jumped into photoshop without fundamentals.
I didn't know anything about perspective lighting etc...
Its pretty funny when I think about it. Its also funny that this was just 8-9 month ago.
But it also show that fundamentals are the most important thing to work on!
You always get what you put in. If you really want something just do it go for it and try to achieve it.
Goals in your life are so important! Don't be afraid.
You always have to work !
If you don't have a goal try to really think about it !
But never forget to also have a lot of fun ! Enjoy the process!
I really happy to announce that I will study "Industrial Design" in the 1. October 2014 at the HTW Berlin Germany.
I had to made a portfolio for that. The first part was a task they gave me. This was about 3-5 29,7 x 42,0 CM sheets and the rest was personal stuff. I tried to show the process from concept stage to final rendering.
After passing this they invited me for an interview. Maaan I was so nervous.
Yesterday I get finally the confirmation that im accepted to study ID in October 2014.
Im so happy right now and also pretty excited.
When I think about, that I started sketching 9 month ago, I never thought this would happens so fast.
Now I can follow the food steps of great Industrial Designer like Scott Robertson Feng Zhu etc...!!
Hard work always payīs off!
Always chase your dreams and never give up !
sorry for the bad qualy its just to huge to scan it
The last days people sketching in public
I always pick the person who stand up aft 1 min >.<
so thats the reason why the most stuff is pretty ruff
i had to give my wacom back to my buddy he borrowd me his intus for almost a year
try to get a new one !
sketch sketch sketch !
I really want to learn how to draw figures. Starting point was the character design for my personal project...but i acutally dont know how to drw figures
so guess what today i started with the gesture !
i set the timer on 120 sec and i really need these 2 minutes. I didnt even finish the most of them, but speed will come
I used to much lines in the first round...will improve on that and maybe one day i can set the timer on 60 seconds
and a two sketchbook pages from public transport today
my weekend some sketches: public drawing & try to learn the gesture so some 120 secīs
still so much to learn
Marathon not a sprint !
still doing 2-3 h gesture a day still 120īs also took notes besides that, to pay more attention to the acuall study.
After doing gesture i do sketches from imagination.
I really want to learn the figure for doing character design .
I also started to character design in PS.
itīs just so much fun
draw draw draw
Still learning figure !!
More I look for details about character design more I see what goes into a great character design.
Nobody said it would be easy !
Do my 120īs everyday!
I did a lot of digital character approaches for my character Ansgar
But their wasnīt good enough!
IM still search for knowledge !
Little Environment study from yesterday
Honestly the day need more than 24 hours !...i wish I hade more time to do all studies on a daily basis...
Doing a study everyday from every topic you like would be so good....
Yeah still so much more to learn...I could work for more hours on that..
was much much fun !
Hi! Good job on thos Gesture drawings
Keep it up and you'll master them
today portrait/value study
was soooooo much fun but really have to become faster
have a good one everybody
Some 2 min gestures
Im playing with the approach of actually drawing them
Im doing them on a daily basis as my warm up for the day
need to get faster !
Just a little quick skin study
the last two month were pretty busy for me...
I still was drawing everyday as much as I could
had nothing good to show
I do a lot of pen & paper drawings

Some sketches I did for a painting I planned to do..Thing is im not good at painting/rendering with color
also my visual library is kinda small...i have to make much more studies on a daily basis
Scott Robertson/Feng Zhu stuff is awesome! :-)
I enjoyed watching your journey here, your efforts are looking good! All your hard
work is already showing!
I can't give much critique at this point as I'm pretty much trying to do what you are
doing now, lots of drawing and studying.
Keep up the hard work, looking forward to seeing you progress!
Congratulations with getting accepted for the industrial design course! You deserve it with all this hard work. I studied ID too for two years but it was not really my thing. The drawing classes are paying off till this day though.
Your figure drawings and portraits are improving. If you want a good book to help improve your gesture drawings, I recommend Drawn To Life by Walt Stanchfield. Keep those sketches coming!
@Jo thanks I try to keep it up every day
@ fantasy well thanks it was pretty hard for me, i never drew before. Did you finished studying ID?
I visit my first watercolors class today. It was pretty cool.
We had a reference landscape picture to paint.
After we painted it, we had to do one quick in 5 min without reference.
I really became more relaxed. After that I did 2 without reference and one complete different. Each in 20 min.
Ding 6 hours...time flys by like always
Small speed painting for the night WIP
Hey there !
Create new/good habits thats my goal for the new year.
At university we got exam time so we got so much stuff to do.
I try to paint everyday besides all homework I sketch a lot with markers and pen when im on public transport or in class
The most of this pictures are Copic marker sketches.
Until next time !

Im happy that I have 2-3 h a day time to paint. I got so much stuff to finish for the university.
When I paint Im only using 1 Layer no undo and I try not to use more than two default brushes.
I want to learn painting the traditional way.
So much more to learn about painting!
Itīs so much fun.
Hope to produce constantly more work.
