Hi lekamie, wonderful illustrations , the first one is very dreamy. The second painting has is my favorite, it would be perfect for a children's story book! Cant wait to see more of your work!

    INtegrate, thank you very much!

I really like doing that kind of kids stuff.
I do not have time to draw as much as I would like, but I hope I'll get some new pieces done.

Here one made few months ago.

Nice work! Really like your third piece and also your 4th!
Just one question, on the third one are we under the water looking up or there is no water at all and the boat is floating. I'm just a bit confused about that.

But I really like that picture its very atmospheric and inspiring!
    Please more more more!

    Hello!

DeadLurtz, There is water and the angle of view is underwater, horizonline is roughly bottom of the sea in the distance.

We can somehow see clearly trough the water. I can't explain why I ended up with this solution or it was kind of happy accident. I suppose it makes the scene a bit more interesting at least for myself.

In my sketchbook you can see the first thumbnail about the scene and little bit about the process.

I love the first one of the traveler in repose admiring the moon from his boat. Lots of magic in that one!

CharonBodysnatcher, Thank you! Nice to hear.
DeadLurtz, Your welcome, Happy to share the process, It took me a long time to realize that a good planning really helps a lot in the end.

This time a lizard study ended up to this.
First pencil sketch, then ink (pilot hi-tec c) for lines and texture, and all the coloring in PS.

A wonderful selection of illustrations. You have a real talent for imbuing your work with emotion.

I sense a career in editorial illustration beckons. Good luck, my friend.
Something revolutionary is coming to the boards, my sketchbook coming soon
