You CAN see a clear backpack in his WIP line drawing even if it's not so obvious in the final. I'm guessing you got rid of the top part because it wasn't as nice a silhouette Cloud Yo?

I for one would be happy to see Cloud's entry accepted - he clearly put a lot of work into it, but as mentioned, it's your show havok!

Actually I just noticed that voting has already started so I'm guessing that's that - see you next round buddy - the better the competition the more fun!

Oh and if you want to watch me paint live I recently got introduced to this thing called picarto TV... It's nice to do art and share it - if you have any questions it's great to talk too! I'm painting pretty much 12 hours a day so you'll most likely find me - unless I'm eating

Thanks for the support Lovingit! Yes, I got rid of the top part, but I think the reason was that tumbling might be impaired if the backpack tuck out from the top back...In fact like an Idiot I even had a shape of the pack in mind just felt that since it was there there was no real need to draw it out just because I didnt understand the need for a call-out or a turn-around. At any rate, I guess the journey is a lot more important tha the destination so...oh well. :/

Sorry cloud, I looked really hard on the final image to see if there was a package of some sort. I really liked yours too. You wouldn't have had to do a turnaround, if you just included an image of the backpack to say that is what he is wearing, would have been acceptable.

Thanks for being understanding. again, I know you put a lot of work into it, and it looks awesome, it's just one of those things that I couldn't find :/

I try to chime in during everyone's process to catch these things, but sometimes I just can't get to a computer to do that.

The "backpack" has a ball-bearing sort of system with spinal support. Basically, large packages can securely spin in any direction to move it out of the way as possible. Smaller packages and messages can be carried in her pouches. I wish I'd had time to sketch all that out but I'm getting in by the skin of my teeth as is.

That's weird, I just realized that mine did not even make it in time although I posted it well before 10pm and did not even see the closed poll post. Is there some time difference I did not notice? I'm in NY so it's EST. Oh well... Great stuff from everyone, very inspiring round.

Just checked and there is a 5 hour difference.. ha ha the devil is in the details apparently.

The deadline is 10PM GMT, which is a 5 hour difference at this point in time.

I definitely originally read/assumed the time was PST rather than GMT but I'll keep that in mind for next time.

Overtexted - back shot with no front view OR wips

Well, don't thinks its fair. Nothing has been said 'bout back shots (He is enaugh visible). And I posted some sketches and development in thread. Conceptart.org is blocked by my internet-providers or something else, so the only way to be here - using proxy. Its not comfortable to post WIPs regular.

I'm not mad anyway, and understand this cut.
