Great imagination on show here, your style is strong and varies which shows versatility. The gold sphinx and the temple images stand out to me.
I would have to say that some of the images seem flat with a few characters blending in with the backgrounds.
I'm intrigued to see what comes next.
@overlordgunner (oops somehow i didn't see your message) Thank you!! You're awesome. I ran into your tumblr and stalk you there ; )
@mothman Thanks! I agree I keep trying to figure out ways to have my characters stand out. I need to work on separation of focal point in the composition, but I get so absorbed in the drawing that I forget to hahah. You're an amazing artist. I'll be watching you on here as well.
what a unique style!lovely
Wow! Such a unique style. I love the way you exaggerate your figures, and the color you use are very dynamic. How long did it take you to develop your "style"? Was it something you had to work at or did it just come naturally? Did you take figure drawing classes and kind of go from there? Sorry for all the questions. I'm new to art and anatomy, and your poses are very dynamic and interesting to look at!
Hi there! Sorry for the recent inactivity, I didn't see this until just now : ) Thank you! I developed my style slowly over time... pulling from all the things I loved which included everything from anime, to western comic art, and classic art. I later took figure drawing in college, but I think the thing that really helped me improve the most was finding other people I enjoyed drawing with and coming up w/ small stories and characters..then repeatedly drawing them in paintchat every day or oekaki forums (shows how old I am) until I couldn't do it anymore. Truly, drawing for me was what I would do every instant I could with my free time.
I later became more serious after college and started focusing on making 'complete works' some time after. All the best! - Sapro
