Love your paintings, you make such interesting landscapes. Your thumbnail studies are just what i needed to push me onto starting value and colour studies, so thank you.

Hey, thanks a lot! I'm glad I could inspire you I've been a bit lazy the past couple of weeks, need to get back into studies.

Here's a few fairly dull pieces from the last week or so:

Did a new piece this afternoon it's up on my prints store if anyone's interested (see my sig) I'm not sure whether I'm allowed to promote my store on here so please let me know if I've broken any forum rules!

Hey man, thanks for dropping by my sketchbook! I'm pretty sure it's alright to promote your printstore so don't worry too much about that I'm liking your studies man. Looking fine. I have some feedback for you regarding the latest masterstudies: Observe and establish the major shapes first, then scribble in smaller and looser details. I'm seeing some scribbly lumps of value that could be painted more deliberate. Keep that in mind!
Also regarding this piece - http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...3&d=1390076886

Your highlights are evenly distributed across all of the piece. This gives it a flat appearance. Observe how sunsets fall on mountains in reality and I'm sure you'll pick some things up! keep it up

Ahhh awesome, cheers for the critique! Always love getting feedback I'll definitely give that a go, really need to do some more observational stuff too.
