An Architect's Sketchbook
I'm a second year Architecture student with an interest in concept & industrial design!
There are so many great artists on this forum that has inspired me to create my own sketchbook. Though I'm no way near the standard of many...
I am mostly self-taught, I have some drawing experience and currently grinding through those fundamentals. I am much stronger working traditionally than digitally, though I'm still trying to make that transition.
Any advice / direction for my work would be amazing! Thanks & enjoy
I have started a new traditional sketchbook; pencil & ink. I'll post yesterdays doodles...

Good luck with the 10,000 hour journey, and thanks for dropping in to my sketchbook. I'll do some applied sketches soon. Also, if you are currently using Posemaniacs for your figure studies, someone recommended Pixellovely to me instead.
@sus.thai Thank you. I've just checked out Pixelovely and it looks awesome, definitely going to utilize it.
Some sketches from last night: tonal figure sketches & perspective constructions.
Thanks for commenting on my sketchbook.
Looking good so far
I'm envious of how accurate your construction and perspective is. Some lovely stuff on your tumblr as well. Keep it up!
cool sketches man
Oh, you just started your sketchbook too! Love the insects~
Hey thanks for stopping by my sketchbook , the insect drawings and figure studies are looking nice, Looking forward to seeing more!

@Ethnax Thank you I try to deconstruct the subjects as if they were models, but I don't know whether this makes my drawings look too rigid...
@Jovilicious Thanks man!
@Smilingmountain No problem, and I appreciate it
Update from last night's sketches. I have a new obsession for insects and contouring. Going to be working on figures and complex forms in perspective for a while. C&C welcomed!
Bugs bugs contours and bugs
Pixelovely class studies
Illustration sketch idea; integrating contouring into the organic forms
I really love that hand man! you can make a home out of it! xD
@Jpoy Thanks man! was really just an experiment but I'm hoping to make a half-decent illustration soon that runs with a similar idea
Quick update; no real grinding studies, just a few fun sketches/drawings over the x-mas period.
Finally got hold of some decent pens => Pilot G-Tech-C4 (0.4)
Cheers and C&C encouraged

Hey man, nice stuff so far Really digging you construction work, looks awesome. Looking forward to seeing more
Great stuff! I love your use of perspective and the organic hand drawing is super cool. I don't have much critique for now; keep it up and keep branching out
Hey dude, thanks so much for stopping by my sb. i was sad to see this is only one page, was enjoying looking through your work man; love effort put in truly understanding the forms, mechanics and the sections of the things you draw and study. Keep at it bud!
Looks amazing woow, what do you mean with not near the standard of many. Fk them and their standards, your work is amazing. The still life is beautiful, and as everyone said the way you draw the construction and perspective lines is really good.
@JakeB @hanabrya @Chris_Sanders @Dennis_Kessei Thank you for your kind words
Long time since any activity - been really pretty busy with uni work. I'll share my odd doodles and some architecture work! Waiting for some free time to pop up...
