Attended art school in the late 90s. Did a year and a half run doing political cartoons, and a couple years after that doing art for everything from album covers, to t-shirts, to magazines. Nobody paid very well. I even interviewed with DC Comics twice, but they only wanted superheros, and that's not what I do. Paradox Press and Kitchen Sink were both interested, but they folded before anything got off the ground. Nothing paid the bills artistically until I started tattooing, and I've now been doing that 14 years. It's funny, now that I make a good living, I've done illustrations for everything from magazines, to comics, to even books and full on book covers. Life is funny.
