Can someone please explain to me what's going on in the greater Edmonton/ Alberta area!?! I've met a handful of people from that area and everyone of them is a genuinely nice, smart, creative, and beautiful person. Why up in that frozen hellscape is there a pocket of hot creative people? Are you being held hostage by a canadian mad scientist hell bent on making a utopia? Trapped after the land bridge disappeared? What's the deal!?!

It was melting rather than freezing here today!
Thank you for the kind words folks.

@ Daniel Andrews, interestingly it appears you may know some people in the Calgary area that I used to speak with here and there. Sadly, I really dropped off of the face of the earth when it comes art and such for a few years now it seems.

Petite, you have eyes that like a friend of mine, same frown too. But she's from Syria, not Lebanon. This is a pic taken from my high school ID. I rarely take photo's since they tend to steal bits of my soul & sanity in parts. I chose this one because it's one of the few has a good view of my face.

Congrats Two Listen on the wedding.

Whats the story behind the sand pouring in that last image?

I dont mean to speak for Two Listen, but some couple do sand in place of a unity candle. Different color sands coming together to make one beautiful item instead of a slightly burnt candle. Looks nicer and it is often used as a substitute when a candle may easily burn out (like an outdoor wedding)

^ --- This. Thanks for covering that, Hookswords.

I hadn't actually even heard of the sand pouring thing until just a week or two before the wedding when the chapel person let us know about it when we were setting everything up. We just thought it'd be neat. Gives us a piece of art to take with us.

It was a little weird though, because my wife had a lot more sand than me. And so my color ran out. And I was like "This is totally symbolic of something." Still turned out nice, though. Have it sitting right above my monitor on a little shelf.

What a beautiful wedding, Two Listen, congratulations!

I really liked that sand ceremony, I wasn't familiar with it, but it seems like a wonderful souvenir about the ceremony!

That sand pouring seems like such a beautiful thing. & I think that'd be awesome to have in your house as a reminder of your wedding instead of a burnt candle. Have to remember that if I ever get married ;P

But yea! - anyways - I've been a member of CA for a while now, made a random post here and there but now I'm starting to actually be more of an actual member and post more and have a sketchbook up and running soon. Anyways - I'll shut up now and here I am rockin' the WoW priest shirt
