Thanks for the visit and comment in my sketchbook!

Your brushwork is so bold and strong, wow. Not like my anxious little chicken scratches

What do you plan to post? Hopefully more of the zombie guy

Look what I did! Vep's sketchbook

Hey Jhetzul, thanks for your comments.

I like the energy in your stuff. If you aren't already try doing some gestures, I find doing gestures from videos that I like more helpful than pixelovely, since things stick to memory better if you're having fun doing it.

you have an interesting look to your faces that I think is pretty neat! but some study of the structure underlying them will help to make them seem a lot more solid.
keep working at cleaner, confident lines

Damnit Jhetzul, u said u were going to do some gestures. Gonna have to hunt you down if you keep doing faces. JK
Actually keep doing what you like but stay passionate about it. I think you get far by any method you choose as long as you remain critical and actively look for ways to improve.

But anyways do you go to any drawing events in New York? I think the society of illustrators have a bi weekly life drawing class, I tried going there a couple times but I got absolutely shit views because I finish work late. I also think there is a Dare 2 Draw event coming up, It would be awesome to have a NYC CA.org meetup or something.

Quick sketch, I think my biggest fear is trying to color over the line work without killing the sketch

so messy lines! It works in the last post tho! It's a retty cool robo You draw in a very stylized way i think. Keep doing what you like and you will eventually improve in your own way.

Just keep hammering out those figures, it gets a lot easier over time. If you need any encouragement you can see how my first figures were total shit in my first sketchbook. I linked it in my first post of my sketchbook, I also think simplifying helps, I was getting nowhere doing complex "anatomy studies" of bones and stuff for a couple months so just nail the major landmarks/proprtions and action lines before worrying about muscles.

Hi I like your latest sketches. I think you can benefit from learning some basic perspective, to start learning to see things in 3d. Just a suggestion Keep drawing, you will improve. I'll stop by from time to time
