Its' free and it takes less than 10 seconds!
Hello all. I wanted to start fresh with a new sketchbook because I feel a lot has changed with my concepts over the past year. Being able to see progression through a sketchbook is great but, I don't want to look at my old one any longer. These initial pen on moleskine sketches you probably have seen. I've been working on these lately. Its time I venture into new territory.

Working on some quick 10-15 minute composition studies.
Some quick skull thumbnails I did for a demo today. Skulls are so much fun.
Well Bobby, you're off to a heckuva start! How are you coming up with te ideas for these characters? Meaning are you just sitting down to draw whatever comes into your head or are they based on some kind of prior description? Either way, they are awesome and detailed!
Kalevy and Sage, thanks. Kalevy, I usually don't have a design in mind when doing the creatures. I start at the eyes and work my way outward. Getting the eyes in first helps me set the mood of the character.
Its always fun sketching spaceships.
Just updating with these 10-15 minute skull studies...

Some face sketches tonight. I'm thinking of turning them into zombies next.
Awesome start, really inspiring line work!
your pencil quality is SO DAMN HIGH. Love it!
I really like the girl with the alien/skull crown. This is really amazing. Only crit being the unicorn with a knife is quite static and unbelievable, improving your anatomy knowledge of equines may help.
Thanks guys. You're right alenacat. Horse anatomy is tricky.
Would you give me some of your beautiful linequality? intense!

Here are some character sketches I can show. I'll be posting more very soon along with development sketches! Hope you all like them.
Amazing sketchbook, such penmanship. How do you get the lines so thin, I have a Pigma Micron01 Line width 0.25mm and I can't get anyway near that thinness.
Can't wait to see more from you.
I've always enjoyed sketching fruit. Here's a Pear study I did today while casting a warm light. Colored pencil.

Kiwano Melon and Granny Smith.
Here are industrial equipment and medical device sketches. Just some ballpoint fun on Moleskine.
Beautiful sketchbook, nothing other thing to say, but maybe post more digital paintings?
