    Sharpening Blending stumps?

Just wondering how you sharpen these darn things. They keep falling apart on me and never go back to the original pointed condition any suggestions?

ever seen those strips of sandpaper stapled to a little board? sandpaper blocks are pretty much perfect for sharpening your blenders, just drag them across the sandpaper, point trailing.

I only use the sandpaper to get rid of the excess graphite (tho sometimes they are useful to have on) and clean the stump

to sharpen them, I simply use an exacto blade. It works.
