    Chris "McSwagger's" Sketchbook thread! (NSFW)

Hi all. My name is Chris, I'm an artist based in Southern California. My goal is to one day be a concept artist/illustrator (surprise surprise), and also create my own IP eventually. Anyway, I'm trying to get more comfortable with digital painting because I've been doing traditional stuff for a while now, and I've been really itching to move into this medium, but I'll try to post a healthy mix of both. Some of the stuff in this first post is going to be a little old, just because I want to project a good idea of what level I'm at right now. Anyway, here's what I got for ya so far, I'll do my best to update the thread regularly..

Really gotta update this thing more. Let me know if the images are too big.. I'm not sure whether or not my browser is resizing them or if the message board software is.

I think you're on the right track with these studies. There are some examples of really nice flowing linework here and there. Just keep practicing with your anatomy and perspective. Definitely get a hold of Loomis' Figure drawing for all its worth and Bridgman's Constructive Anatomy if you havn't already. They're gold for learning anatomy.
