Sweet schizz. I got to get off of my hands & start drawing more like this
Hey man, just wanted to drop some love in this piece. And thanks for updating per my request. This dump is Jupiter sized, that means pretty big. Loving the figure work too, cool seeing the usage of different shitz. The strongest ones are the ones done in conte[?] I think that's what it is. It stands out the most. Liking the hand studies as well, keep doing'em. YOU GOTTA. And are those self portraits I see? OH DAMN> you should do more of'em, make them daily even. That would be the GOAT. We gotta chill sometime, been waay too long. Dim sum? Lemi's? Bubble tea? Choose your own adventure. Gotta hook me up bro-bro. I got nothin but love man, cheers.
Really nice updates.
Those last pencils look really nice. The shape training you did before seem to have more than helped you.
Keep posting. Your doing good
hey nice sb! i really like you readnering. and your silly putty type characters the clouds on that one are marvelous. the figures are great too. oh really liike the fish too! heh.
i'm not sure why i've never seen this thread before, but hell. i'm a gunna bump it anyways because jca is the way.
your ink style looks strongest when expressed by the linoleum cut medium. not sure if you plan on continuing doing these but... honestly, it's one of those woodcut type styles that breaks my heart it looks so good! I'm a big fan of the whimsy in your other sketches and artworks. the sculptures are an unexpected and cerebral surprise .
Keep going with these figurative studies–> there's a real progression of improvement on this page. another 5 or 6 updates full of figurative goodness and i think your eyes will be glowing and you will be able to move objects with your mind. Do you like working with ink wash? Ink wash is my imaginary friend... no lie... in a moleskine it works beautifully... and not even the watercolor variety of moleskine.
the new site is dope-a-matic. (<— guggenspired )
