Sweet schizz. I got to get off of my hands & start drawing more like this
i love the lil cuts, my fav of yours so far. you seem to relaly love ink but you handle it nicely. i also really love the drawing of the pens and eraser, thats lovely. the forms really pop the way you did the lines. keep goign the way you are, especially with the figure stuides. and just keep experimenting with other materials, like the acrylics. try more color sometime too. this shall be a fun book to watch.
wow.... your lenolium cuts are amazing.... totally inspirational. i don't do a lot of traditional work beyond drawing these days, and it is SO refreshing to see something not done on the comp or in a sketchbook.
keep up the good work!
Drawing is fun.
man you have some nice work. I love your ink work! esspecially the prismacolor marker renderings. theres a couple things that I would suggest, cliche stuff but it is what I did and it helped. I would suggest studying the anatomy. not just looking at the way the muscles are shaped but how the move and the placement. being exact is not as important as having the formula proper. once you understand the basic formula of the muscles and which one wraps around what or which one is under or over what, you can mold that into what ever you want. the most important thing that I think an artist like you or i could do is sell the illusion of life or dimension or both. keep up the good work. draw ALL OF THE TIME or as much as possible. thats is what its gonna take to achieve the goals that you have. consider art as some one would consider martial arts. in order to gain skill you must practice all of the time. a martial artist must intertwine all facets of their life into the art. we must do the same or else there is no hope. good luck. ill be watching your growth!!
Nice stuff, and interesting work as well
I feel that your landscapes and environment is your strongest point. Are you interested in focusing more on just that? Or focusing more on your character art?
focusing on ALL!!! and hope to draw like this one day -->Originally Posted by ParkerD
im updating this shit in a bit, just gonna get some good sketches down to add an illusion of improvement and dedication
but thank u guys for the push, i needed it. thanks johnny.
sorry for the scan quality, the sketches were too big so it might seem messy and blurry... blame the scanner.
I'll probably finish some of these, but not really serious about them cause theyre just sketches, who currsss anyway
Stumpy the Tree
The guy on top right is Harry Bolzenal
he's called.. Lizzid?? i dunno
Kumpfy the Chairman HAHAH
im done touching this stupid, generic-lookin, homo priest-goat..
and last for now, my favorite.... Gigglez the One-armed Clown HAHAHAHAH
sorry if it's cut off or blurry but these sketches are pretty big and the scanner isnt large enough..
anyway, this is the incredible inedible dimpleberry.. it looks like a fruit but if u try to touch it it opens up and bites your head off!! or not.
i dunno what this is, but dont mistake his antennas for his eyes.. his head is the ball at the end of the "trunk" aka his second neck - no name for it yet
i think ive made a lot of progress so far - any suggestions for improvement?
Hehe i like that fugger - funny stuff. Nice pencil for the most part here.
the prime evil is anatomy, work more with that ( i should too ).
Those linoleum cuts are very very cool - you use that style really good!!! Have you done more of those?
Oh yeah and i dig Harry Bolzenal too
this is putty. he really likes flowers, and from time to time he mistakes pretty young women for daisies and such. once he realizes that theyre not what he thought they were, he tosses them to their untimely doom . silly putty!

Hey man, just wanted to drop some love in this piece. And thanks for updating per my request. This dump is Jupiter sized, that means pretty big. Loving the figure work too, cool seeing the usage of different shitz. The strongest ones are the ones done in conte[?] I think that's what it is. It stands out the most. Liking the hand studies as well, keep doing'em. YOU GOTTA. And are those self portraits I see? OH DAMN> you should do more of'em, make them daily even. That would be the GOAT. We gotta chill sometime, been waay too long. Dim sum? Lemi's? Bubble tea? Choose your own adventure. Gotta hook me up bro-bro. I got nothin but love man, cheers.
