Francesco Di Pastena- Character/Creature design sketchbook

Hello everyone, my name is Francesco Di Pastena. I have worked as illustrator for some years and now I'm currently working as comic artist for Zenescope Entertainment. I felt in love with character and creature design and I'd like to switch in this industry and I'm here to learn everything I could about it.
I made a creature to test me and I'd like to hear what you think about the design, the style explorations (thumbnails, sketches etc.)even the portfolio page design.
    Thanks in advance.

    Francesco

I have some new sketches for a new creature. It should be a sort of genetic hybrid human/insect and it should move really fast (as a spider for ex.). I'm thinking of this creature to be part of a survival horror VideoGame such as Resident Evil or similar.
Let me know what you think. I'm realy curious to hear citiques from you Cheers
P.S.: if you want to see the sketches in a bigger version just tell me

First I really admire your exploration I can't succeed to make sketchs for exploration.
    Second, your work is great.
The only think I can see, I you want to make them more realist it's maybe the contrast I mean your features to draw it , are too bold.
    Keep it up

Thank you Laureline! You're saying you prefer my line work from my painting work?
