Today I practised adding my own ideas to the reference. The first pose in the row is me drawing what I observe, and the other ones is me pushing design more. I've found that the biggest obstacle in producing great drawings is fear of producing a bad drawing, and in exaggerating, fear of pushing the drawing too far. In my experience, if you have a good understanding of the fundamentals you can always bring the drawing back from being too exaggerated. The moment that you take courage and allow yourself to truly express the ideas that the figure is giving you, your drawings start to achieve a whole new level of interest.
As you can see below, I started to get more courageous with each iteration. I still can push them way more though, so I'm curious to see where my drawings will end up as I continue to do this exercise.

    Hi Everyone !

Some of my gesture training here, this is one of this morning (120 seconds per pose).
I am really impressed to see the great works from other artists, it is really a source of motivation !

    Have a nice day ^__^

They look really good, please post more !

Happy 2017 everyone! Since were looking at a new year, one thing to consider is that success rarely happens by accident. You need to set clear goals and then make a plan to achieve them. Here are some key questions to ask when setting goals:

    • What do I want to accomplish and why?
    • What steps do I need to take to accomplish this goal?
    • What information or resources do I need to successfully take each of these steps?
    • Where can I acquire this information or resources?

Success a process, not an event. It depends on taking the right steps to accomplish your goal.
