If you want to improve digital rendering, you continue to practice with a tablet,

If you want stroke, and knowledge of curves, because you're adapting to this new knowledge of figure drawing, then you can practice on paper and even trace your results with the tablet.
Hah!! Take that in the name of art!

    I collect them on pinterest.

Great gesture drawings by the way! Very fluid. You seem to understand rhythm very well, which is something a lot of people seem to struggle with. What tool did you use for those sketches?

fantasyartist - Really? Thank you! I'm so happy - and a bit surprised - to hear it. I love "disney-ish" gesture sketches, like the ones you draw (especially recently), and I still look for this line quality that animators use to express the movement, mass and depth at the same time. Those sketches are done with a Waterman fountain pen. It's a great tool but the tip of the one I have is slightly damaged, so sometimes it breaks the lines or scratches the paper. Oh by the way, remember me? Back in April you challenged me to become like you in 3 years time, so I'm trying!

So far I've been mostly using reference pictures of nude models intended for fine art (large resources of them on youtube), but I never seem to find anything good to practice drawing more common, "everyday" gestures. I'll definitely try Pinterest, thank you.

I looked in my feedback folder and came across your drawings indeed. You've improved a lot since then .

For reference you can also look for some stock photos on deviantart. There's a lot of good reference to be found there.

Thanks for the advice (again)! I did a lot of research on anatomy, etc. and was following the Rule of 3 P's (Practice, Practice, Practice). Probably I'd be a little better now if not for the fact that I moved 2 times since then, started learning programming and enrolled to college again... Well, nobody said life was supposed to be easy
