Hi, some of them are very intresting. A long session, arround one hour drawing, will make the drawings look very spontaneus. I like your work.

Great work, in my opinion the last draw, the man running or jumping, has everything that makes a gesture drawing so great for developing our skills. It haves a lot of rithm and looks very natural, love it. Excuse my poor english, doing my best with the language.

    Head issue

    Hey
first of all thanks to Verx for this amazing website, which doesn't feel stiff as similar ones.

I practiced gesture drawing for already more than 30h and I'm usually pretty confident. My biggest issue so far is the head, very often I am out of proportion. Usually I start with the head and then add the Line of Action, limbs and finally going for the contours. Is that a approach which is appropriate or does it support my proportion problem?

    Thank you.

These are my last 60 sec gestures

Sorry if this isn't the thread for this but has anyone else been having issues with quickposes recently? Timed gestures have been pretty sluggish for me, sometimes a picture stays there for another 30s after the timer runs out, skip button isn't reactive, things like that. I'm on Chrome and I've tried the usual clear cache etc. Am I missing something?

Started gesture drawing digitally. I'll upload some gestures I've done from a life drawing session in conte and charcoal as well so others can get ideas of how to approach them in different ways.

Remember guys, it's not about making pretty drawings when you're doing gesture. If you can "read" the action and see the pose from your drawings, you're doing a good job!

Hi! I'm a beginner. The only training I have is a sketch club at my office where artists and (some non-artists like myself) get together twice a week for making 2 minute sketches of each other posing.

    Hey man

I didn't see this message otherwise I would have acted on it sooner. You should definitely send me a mail via the contact form next time.
But I just figured out the problem. Quickposes was under a small DDOS attack recently. I have put in some extra security measures into place to get the server back to stability.
If you keep having problems please reach out to me via the contact form on my website. I will also be keeping a close eye on the situation.

    Much love
