    The vilppu drawing manual. is it worth it?

    Hi just want to ask im considering buying the Vilppu drawing manual because I was recommended it during a critique however I would like to ask considering I have the loomis books and the Hampton books is it worth me picking it up as another resource?

    The Loomis and Hampton books should keep you busy for the next couple of years...

    when you are using those books use them until you can draw the images exactly like they are in the book. Its good to first read the books all the way through without copying any thing and then go back and reread and copy each page over and over until you understand what is being written and you can draw things as well as the authors. It will take years to do. Mix that with drawing from life daily.

    ^What dpaint said is the way to go.
    Michael Hampton's and Vilppu's approaches are very similiar so you're good to go with the two books you already have.

    Would love to see you open a sketchbook as well.
