hey man, nice to meet you tonight... your drawing turned out nice, I didnt see it finished earlier. A crit, if you don't mind- try to work in some more of a middle value, right now your values are a little overexposed, the greys could use a little bit more coverage throughout...like his back is the brightest part because that's where the light was, but there should be a little more of the transitional shadow going on there. Also, think about working a tone for the background as well, that way the boundaries of the figure aren't made simply with line.. if that maes sense. Hope I'm not throwing too much at you, because I think it's a good drawing, just giving you some help that I've learned along the way. werd bee, fun hanging out with ya.

Cody - yea was good times hanging out with you and danny. I dont mind the crits at all man, I'll take all you can give. I spent some more time on this trying to make it a little better. Sort of making up stuff though, did this more for my memory's sake so I wouldnt forget your suggestions. The thing you said about mapping out your values/shadows some I need to start doing that too, get some more of a process happening so I'm not spending so much time noodling around. Scanner did a good job of wreckin this somewhat.
And a oc session with alti, topic cyborgs. I need to study guns sometime.

The Bone Doctor Diagnosis *****
Last post has some good figure composition going on ^^^^^ the head structure needs some work (even on figures this size) the features seem a little flat on the front of the head ^^^^^ think about the cylindrical shape underneath ***** also remember you don't have to draw everything :::: it is just as important to know what to leave out!

Thanks Mentler very good crits you are right about these heads some of them do have very boxlike faces. Also loosing a lot of depth in some places (thanks for pointing out cotron) oh well just have to study more. Am really trying to push what I know and see how far I can take it, somehow acquired a lot of patience over the past couple of days. Heres a larger concept of the amazon chick.

Hey, man! Long time since I've checked out your stuff as well!
Thanks for the comments/tips 'n crits in my thread!
You're showing good progress! I especially like the little magiciangirl on the last OC sketch, and this one http://=http://img.photobucket.com/a...3-Assassin.jpg I'd like to see you take that one further! I like the atmosphere!
Have a look at your heads, the ones you've done 3/4 views and other angles of..some of them seem a little skewed.. I think the main problem is with the chin being misplaced, to far to the side, like.

Yo dcept, thanks man! Yea one day.. when I got the skills I'll finish that pic.. I hope to come back to a lot of this stuff and fix em up. Thanks for the critique, you're right on about the heads and the chin placement I think also eye placement in 3/4 views is real tough for me. I need to get studying that.
Here's some life drawings and doodles from the bar and the wafflehouse aftermath. If you dont drink it still very cool place do some drawing. Lot of liveliness happening and people who dont care too much if you take a few glances their way.

nice mike, it's good to see you busy drawing man.
I'm liking the life drawings a lot... drawing from life is painfully tough for me after using ref as such a crutch... so I needs to be getting out and doing some more of that too.
anyway, nice work dude, keep it coming!
