    The Lazy Book of Dreams

So I'm attempting another sketchbook after the last one died. And rightly so.
I really want to go into some kind of concept art or game design one day, starting here should hopefully be a good first move.

If you try to find my previous sketchbook I will asdfadhgjf

Okay first post. I'm going to try and do something at least once a day.

    Failed already.
I may as well post some GCSE coursework stuff later too.

So I did a thing. Also, here is a close up of the thing.

I really need to start uploading sketches and studies and stuff, it creates such a big gap between other pieces. asfgfhfh

Pretty good stuff, just keep working and uploading things.

One pretty simple thing that may help a lot is to take a look at your brushes or brush configuration, your work look more blurry than it should, mostly concept art (mostly) shows strong, sharp, and confident brushstokes. Take some reference as inspiration while working.

That's my two cents, other than that, your work looks well so far.

hey, dont get demotivated if you couldnt draw for a day, sometimes it even helps to get your mind right and "start again" with a new view on drawing. (refreshing your brain ;D) but try to draw everyday . for your paintings, i have to say they are well done. focus on shapes and value. readability is important for a painting. use a hard and a soft brush, not to many! this will let your painting look very messy. except you are a pro and know why you use the brushes.
Dont be afraid of "difficult things", nothing is difficult to draw! some are more complex and need some experience to paint it woithout wasting days on it, look for tutorials how to "build" a painting.
Your Sking colours and face values are pretty good, but also dont be afraid of putting details on the face, but i think the most important thing for you is to study the human body. i know painting metal, fire and detail stuff is much more fun, but its a way we have to go trough and... ARE YOU HIDING HANDS AND FEET!? > xD i promise you, try to draw hands and feet and you will love it in futere^^
Your faces are beautiful, now give them some beautiful bodies ^^ HAVE FUN! end of story xD

Thanks for the advice, I've tried to incorporate it and do some sketches and everything
I seriously need to do some figures and anatomy and stuff though.

Nice start! I like the #2 post. One tip I might give: If you want to do concept art for games, have a look around and figure out what type of work game developers need. Often concept illustration is judged by different criteria than other types of illustration.

    Keep up the work.

I took a look at game design concept art and I think I need to just add more detail to everything.
    Also, must do some landscapes.

Still doing anatomy studies on paper, will try to upload later.
